Bryan County, OK – Crash On Highway 70 Results In Fatal InjuriesCar Accidents in Oklahoma on July 15, 2019
Bryan County, OK (July 15, 2019) – On July 13th, Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a fatal hit and run accident on Highway 70 just west of Durant.
Reports from the scene of the incident indicate that three vehicles collided along the roadway. One vehicle was trying to get away from the other two, while two others were trying to catch up. For unknown reasons, 52-year-old Ralph McEnnerney crashed into an eastbound vehicle, knocking it into the westbound lane where it collided with a third vehicle.
Two individuals involved in the incident, 47-year-old Randy Kinyon and 46-year-old Shelley Mayo, both sustained fatal injuries in the incident.
Four other victims involved in the collision were injured and transported to area hospitals.
McEnnerney initially fled from the scene of the incident and was later apprehended by police. He was charged with two counts of murder and leaving the scene of a fatal accident. McEnnerney was previously charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
