Choctaw County, OK – One Killed & One Injured In Collision On US-70Car Accidents in Oklahoma on July 12, 2019
Choctaw County, OK (July 12, 2019) – On Friday, July 12th, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of US-70 and State Highway 271 just before 2:00 p.m.
According to reports, a woman traveled through the intersection after failing to stop. As a result, the woman’s vehicle was struck by another vehicle crossing through.
The woman sustained fatal injuries in the incident and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An individual in the second vehicle, who was identified as a sheriff’s deputy, was seriously injured and airlifted to a hospital in Plano.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
