Colbert, OK – 8-Year-Old Drowns In Farm Pond Near ColbertOklahoma Accident News on August 9, 2019
Colbert, OK (August 9, 2019) – On August 7th, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a drowning incident at a farm pond near Colbert.
Reports from OHP indicate than an 8-year-old boy was swimming in the pond with his sister when he went underwater shortly after 6:30 p.m.
His sister was unable to locate him and requested emergency assistance.
The child’s body was later recovered by OHP and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
