Colbert, OK (August 14, 2019) – During the evening of August 13th, the Colbert Police Department responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on US Highway 69/75 in Colbert.
According to reports from the Colbert Police, Ramone Flores was traveling north along US Highway 69/75. After some distance, Flores’ vehicle crossed over the centerline and collided with a southbound vehicle, which was driven by Kurt Horn.
Both men sustained fatal injuries in the collision and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, law enforcement officers are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine if alcohol played a role in this collision.
