Cordell, OK (August 10, 2019) – A small plane crashed in western Oklahoma on Friday night, August 10th, and left one person injured. The incident occurred near a runway at the Cordell Municipal Airport at an unspecified time.
According to authorities, the pilot of a single-engine Cessna C150 crashed the aircraft in a field while doing touch-and-gos at the airport. At this time, it is unknown as to whether or not anyone else was on the plane besides the pilot.
Medical responders were called to the scene and one person was confirmed to have been injured. The extent of those injuries has not been reported. The Federal Aviation Administration is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
