Del City, OK (August 15, 2019) – The Del City Fire Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on August 13th on the eastbound side of Interstate 40.
Reports from the Fire Department indicate that two vehicles collided along the eastbound side of Interstate 40 near the area of Scott Street.
The collision resulted in a closure of the interstate and a major delay in traffic.
At least one person was injured in this collision and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The collision remains under investigation at this time.
