
Guymon, OK – Woman Killed In Collision On Highway 54
Car Accidents in Oklahoma on June 21, 2019Guymon, OK (June 21, 2019) – Just after 1:00 a.m. on Friday, June 21st, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 54 near Guymon.
According to reports, 33-year-old Tammy Ballesteros was traveling east along the highway in a 2013 Buick Lacrosse when her vehicle crossed over toward the inside lanes of the roadway. As Ms. Ballesteros’s vehicle crossed over, she struck a Ford.
The impact of the collision caused the driver of the Ford to lose control of their vehicle, which resulted in it rolling over several times before striking a fence.
Ballesteros’s vehicle then crossed back over the center lines and collided with a semi-truck. Ballesteros sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
