Harrah, OK (August 6, 2019) – On Tuesday, August 6th, just before 11:45 a.m., the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of an incident in Harrah County, near S.E. 15th Street and Peebly Rd.
According to reports, a 38-year old man was using a tractor to perform work in the area. While on the job, the man attached an augur to the tractor to dig post holes along the property. The man’s clothing got entangled in the drive shaft, which pulled the man’s leg into the auger.
The man sustained serious injuries and had to be transported to OU Medical Center.
Authorities report that the man lost his leg but remains in stable condition at this time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the man injured in this incident.
