Kiowa County, OK – Kelli Jo Wright & Tyler Glenn Mefford Killed In Highway 183 CrashCar Accidents in Oklahoma on July 22, 2019
Kiowa County, OK (July 22, 2019) – Just before 6:30 a.m. on July 22nd, emergency crews and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on US Highway 183.
According to reports, 21-year-old Kelli Jo Wright was traveling north along the highway in a 2005 Chevrolet when, for unknown reasons, her vehicle crossed over the center line and struck a 2015 Peterbilt near the intersection of County Road 1460.
Wright and her passenger, 21-year-old Tyler Glenn Mefford, both sustained fatal injuries in the collision and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the semi was uninjured in the collision.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
