McIntosh County, OK – Four-Year-Old Dies in Drowning Accident at Eufaula Lake

McIntosh County, OK (July 7, 2019) – A four-year-old girl tragically drowned at Eufaula Lake on Sunday, July 7th, according to authorities. The incident took place after the girl was reported to have gone missing around 11:00 a.m.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol stated that the unidentified female child from Edmond was missing for over two hours when she was found in approximately five feet of water at Eufaula Lake in McIntosh County. The child was located approximately 20 feet from the shoreline.

Sadly, the young girl was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, there has been no information released concerning the events that led to this incident and authorities are not releasing the identity of the victim. The cause of the accident is actively being investigated by the police.
