Muldrow, OK (August 3, 2019) – An ATV accident has left one man dead and a teen girl recovering from injuries, according to police. The crash happened at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Friday night, August 2, on County Road E 1070, north of Muldrow.
30-year-old Ryan Galvan was operating a 2016 Polaris Razor when he overcorrected and subsequently crashed the ATV. The vehicle rolled over twice, ejecting Galvan before landing on the passenger’s side.
Emergency responders were called to the scene where Galvan was transported to a nearby hospital in Ft. Smith. He succumbed to injuries a short time later.
An unidentified 17-year-old girl was also involved in the crash and taken to a Ft. Smith hospital to be treated for head injuries. Her current condition has not been reported.
