Murray County, OK – Woman from Davis Killed in Collision on Chickasaw TurnpikeCar Accidents in Oklahoma on June 30, 2019
Murray County, OK (June 29, 2019) – A two-vehicle accident tragically claimed the life of a Davis woman while leaving two other victims from Sulphur with injuries. The collision was reported to have occurred on the Chickasaw Turnpike at around 12:35 a.m. on Friday, June 28, in Murray County.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, two vehicles were involved in the collision, which happened for reasons that are under investigation. Authorities stated that the driver of a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, identified as Clarence R. Graves, 22, of Sulphur, collided with a 2015 Chevrolet Impala, operated by Devon N. Pereira, also of Sulphur.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene where Pereira’s passenger, identified as Ashley S. Westberry, of Davis, was tragically pronounced deceased. Graves suffered head, neck, and internal injuries and was airlifted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He has since been released. Pereira was taken to Mercy Hospital Ada and was treated for a leg injury before being released.
