Oklahoma City, OK (August 18, 2019) – On Saturday, August 17th, an unidentified male was struck and injured while riding a bicycle in Oklahoma City. Police stated that the accident happened near the intersection of Southwest 48th Street and May Avenue at an unspecified time.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the incident struck the cyclist without stopping, according to police. That driver fled the area, and police are actively conducting a search.
Emergency responders were called to the scene, where they transported the injured victim to a local hospital. He remains hospitalized but no word was released concerning his current condition.
