Oklahoma City, OK (May 2, 2019) – Just after 5:00 a.m. on May 1st, Oklahoma City Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a collision on the Interstate 44.

The incident occurred along the eastbound side of the interstate, just east of Pennsylvania Avenue. According to reports, a semi-truck and a trash truck collided along the interstate for unknown reasons. The force of the impact caused the semi-truck to overturn.

At least one person was injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital for medical attention.
