Oklahoma City, OK (June 1, 2019) – One person was reported to have tragically lost their life following a house fire that broke out on Saturday, June 1st. Police stated that the incident occurred in the vicinity of 2400 SW 43rd Street during the afternoon hours.
Firefighters were accompanied at the scene by police and paramedics, who worked to extinguish the blaze and assist any injured parties. According to the OKCFD, an adult male was the only victim found at the scene and he was sadly pronounced dead due to the fire.
Authorities confirmed that the fire remained isolated to one room and that no other injuries were reported. The cause of this incident is actively being investigated.
