Oklahoma City, OK (July 11, 2019) – On July 8th, just before 3:00 a.m., Oklahoma City Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident near Northwest 39th Street and Ann Arbor Avenue.
According to police, a woman’s vehicle broke down in the parking lot of the Taco Bell in the area. The woman attempted to cross the street with a tire when she was struck by a vehicle.
The woman was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle stopped and remained at the scene with law enforcement officers.
On July 9th, officials confirmed that the woman passed away due to the injuries incurred in the crash.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
