Owasso, OK (May 23, 2019) – On May 22, Owasso police and emergency crews reported to Highway 169 after receiving calls regarding a pedestrian accident.
The incident occurred near the intersection of 89th Street and Highway 169. According to reports, a pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway when they were struck by a semi-truck.
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident by responding officers.
Authorities later identified the victim of this fatal collision as 23-year-old Jessy Immy.
