Seminole County, OK (June 27, 2019) – On Monday, June 24th, Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on EW1270 around 8:00 p.m.
Reports from the incident indicate that a group of three vehicles was traveling along the roadway when one of the vehicles strayed off and struck a bridge abutment. The impact of the collision caused the Mercedes-Benz to catch on fire.
One passenger inside the vehicle, identified as Trayvon Miller, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. A second passenger in the vehicle was critically injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
OHP has since charged the driver of the vehicle, Natasha Long, with first-degree manslaughter due to her involvement in the incident.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
