South Coffeyville, OK – Man from Kansas Killed In Crash in Co. Rd, 3Nowata CountyCar Accidents in Oklahoma on May 6, 2019
South Coffeyville, OK (May 5, 2019) – A Kansas man was reported to have lost his life in a car accident that took place on Saturday, May 4th. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, this accident took place at approximately 11 pm on a county road.
Police stated that 32-year-old Jesse Barber, of Coffeyville, Kansas, was traveling on County Road 3 near US 169 when for reasons that are still unclear, he veered off of the roadway where his car ended up in a ditch. He was fatally wounded in the crash.
Medical responders tragically pronounced Barber deceased at the scene. According to troopers, the victim was not wearing a seatbelt but the official cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
