Tecumseh, OK – Genia Wright ID’d As US Highway 177 VictimCar Accidents in Oklahoma on August 15, 2019
Tecumseh, OK (August 15, 2019) – On August 8th, the Tecumseh Police and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Highway 177.
Reports from police indicate that the body of a pedestrian was located along the roadway between Highland Street and Broadway.
Crews secured the area and began conducting an investigation into the incident.
Investigations of the incident determined that at approximately 6:30 a.m. on August 8th, 42-year-old Genia Wright was killed in the roadway.
The driver responsible fled the scene. It was later determined that Wright was struck by two vehicles.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
