Tulsa, OK (July 9, 2019) – Firefighters from the Tulsa Fire Department reported that a man to had awoken in a hospital after a large firework went off in his hand. The incident took place at the intersection of North 65th West Avenue and Highway 412, west of Tulsa. The accident happened on Friday, July 5th, in the early morning hours.
Reports indicate that the firework went off in the man’s hand, resulting in serious injury to the man’s hand and stomach.
TFD is set to release more information regarding the man’s condition, but no other details have been released at this time.
The incident is currently under investigation.
