Woodward County, OK – Jerry Edgel Tucker Injured In Crash On US Highway 270Motorcycle Accidents in Oklahoma on July 26, 2019
Woodward County, OK (July 26, 2019) – On July 25th, just before 9:00 a.m., the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 270 near Oklahoma Highway 34, just one mile southeast of Woodward.
According to reports, 74-year-old Jerry Edgel Tucker was traveling west on a 2007 Honda motorcycle when 48-year-old Teddy Nicley turned his 2006 Freightliner semi left onto US-270 from OK-34 in front of him.
Tucker took evasive actions to lay the motorcycle over in an effort to avoid the collision.
Tucker sustained serious injuries to his leg, arm, and trunk and was sent to AllianceHealth Woodward before being transferred to OU Medical Center.
