Bethany, OK (May 7, 2019) – On Monday, May 6th, Police responded to the scene of a collision at the intersection of Northwest 36th Street and North Hammond Avenue.

According to reports, a school bus from the Putnam City Public School District was involved in a collision with a Bethany police car.

More than twenty children were on board at the time of the collision. Paramedics provided medical treatment to seven children on the scene. A school nurse from the district provided further evaluations to several children as well.

The officer involved in the collision sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
