Calumet, OK (July 12, 2019) – On July 12th, the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of an oil field accident near Highway 270 and Ranch Road.
According to reports, a piece of equipment fell on two workers who were on-site in Calumet.
The incident caused one victim to sustain fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
A second victim was seriously injured in the incident and transported by a medical helicopter to OU Medical Center.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
