Delaware County, OK (July 19, 2019) – On July 18th, emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of County Road 520 and County Road 250.

Reports from the Oklahoma State Highway Patrol show that a pickup truck failed to stop at a stop sign, causing it to pull out into the intersection where it was struck by a second pickup truck.

Two occupants in the first pickup truck were ejected from the vehicle.

The two victims sustained critical injuries and were life-flighted to a hospital in Joplin.

The driver in the second vehicle sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital in Vinita in serious condition.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
