Enid, OK (August 22, 2019) – On August 21, just before 4:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Washington Street.
According to reports from the Enid Police Department, a 2014 Chevy Malibu, driven by 16-year-old Aidan C. Johnston, was traveling west along Purdue Ave while 40-year-old Leisa A. MacDougall was traveling in a 2009 Mazda 6 east along Purdue Avenue.
As Johnston attempted to turn south onto Washington Street from Purdue, his vehicle was struck by MacDougall’s.
Johnston was transported to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in a private vehicle from the scene.
Two 15-year-old passengers in John’s car, who were identified as Madison B. Neil and McKaela Neil, were both transported by Life EMS to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center for treatment.
MacDougall and her 9-year-old passenger, Jayden E. MacDougall, were both transported by Life EMS to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
