Konawa, OK (July 16, 2019) – On July 11th, Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision just before 4 p.m. on US 377 just northeast of Konawa.
Reports from OHP indicate that 43-year-old Bryan Kelley was traveling south along US-377 in a 1996 Chevy pickup truck. At the same time, 44-year-old Jimmy Frank was traveling by foot in the south shoulder of the roadway. For unknown reasons, Mr. Frank entered into the roadway and was struck by Mr. Kelley’s pickup.
Mr. Frank sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
