
Lawton, OK – Person Found Deceased Following Home Explosion in Southwestern Oklahoma
Oklahoma Accident News on August 25, 2019Lawton, OK (August 25, 2019) – One person was tragically killed in a home explosion that took place in Southwestern Oklahoma on Saturday morning, August 24th. The fatal incident occurred at approximately 7:00 a.m. in the town of Lawton, according to authorities.
Emergency responders were alerted to the existence of an explosion that happened for unknown reasons. The incident occurred at a home that neighbors believed was vacant. When responders arrived at the scene and extinguished the flames, they found the remains of a deceased individual.
The identity of the victim was not released and investigators are working to establish the cause of the explosion. No further information was reported.
