Madill, OK (June 13, 2019) – On June 12th, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major collision at the junction for Highway 1 and Highway 199.
Reports from the incident show that two vehicles collided along the roadway. The force of the impact caused one vehicle to flip over and land in a ditch alongside the road. A 26-year-old female sustained back injuries in the collision and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
An infant was involved in the collision. However, at this time we are unsure if the child was injured. A medical transport helicopter was on standby.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation at this time.
