McCloud, OK – Skateboard Accident On HWY 102 Results In Fatality

McCloud, OK (August 6, 2019) – Around 11:45 p.m. on July 31sst, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident along Highway 102.

According to reports, a 30-year-old man was traveling north on Highway 102 in a GMC Sierra. As the motorist traveled over a hillcrest and began descending down the opposite side of the hill, they collided with a juvenile who was skateboarding in the northbound lanes.

The juvenile slid around 145 feet along the roadway before coming to a rest.

The skateboarder sustained fatal injuries to their head and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
