Muskogee, OK (June 28, 2019) – On Friday, June 21, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on North York Street.
According to reports, 32-year-old Josh Jackson and his wife, 27-year-old Emily Jackson, were traveling along the roadway on a 2004 Harley Davison when they were struck from behind by a white 2007 Dodge Nitro, driven by 29-year-old Addison Clark.
The impact of the collision caused Mr. Jackson to sustain fatal injuries. Josh Jackson was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. His wife Emily sustained serious injuries and was transported to Saint John’s hospital by helicopter.
Addison Clark was charged with DUI, driving without a license and insurance, manslaughter, transportation of an open container, and personal injury accident while under the influence related to this incident.
