Oklahoma City, OK (May 6, 2019) – On May 6th, Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a collision on State Highway 9A just after 1:00 a.m.
According to reports, 47-year-old John Ralph Causey was attempting to make a turn out of a convenience store parking lot when he failed to yield the right of way to a pickup truck, which was traveling north of OK-91.
Causey was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. The driver of the pickup, who was later identified as 41-year-old Thomas Lingle, was transported to Shawnee Hospital for medical treatment.
