Turley, OK (June 20, 2019) – On Tuesday, emergency crews responded to the scene of a house fire near the intersection of 56th Street North and Peoria.

Reports indicate that an abandoned house was on fire for unknown reasons. The flames quickly spread over another abandoned house that sat next to it.

Area firefighters responded to the scene to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading further. As crews worked to extinguish the flames, two firefighters sustained injuries.

The two injured firefighters were provided medical treatment for their injuries at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
