Oklahoma GM recall liability lawsuits.

GM Recall Lawsuits

People across the U.S. have suffered through the loss of a family member, injuries, or the financial burden of not being able to resell their car, because of faulty ignition switches in GM cars. GM has since recalled the cars to fix the problem, but they can’t fix the pain and suffering caused by preventable accidents— and people who have suffered financial loss deserve to be compensated.

Is there currently a class-action GM lawsuit?

Is there currently a class-action GM lawsuit?

Often cases like these become class-action lawsuits, where a group of plaintiffs with similar claims have their claims tried together. These are national lawsuits, but McIntyre Law will represent you no matter where you live. We pride ourselves on treating all of our clients as if they were just next door. You can call Noble McIntyre, our founder, anytime to discuss your case.

Current GM recall lawsuits can happen for two reasons:

  • Some GM recall lawsuits are by owners who are seeking compensation because of the reduced resale value of their vehicles.
  • Some owners of vehicles subject to a GM recall are bringing suit because of injuries sustained as a result of the vehicles’ defects; and
What to know before you file a GM recall lawsuit.

What to Know Before you File a Lawsuit

It’s your right to file a lawsuit. But to get the suit started, you’ll need to acquire car-purchase records and medical records. You’ll have to file other legal papers, like petitions, summons, or complaints. If you haven’t done this before, your best chance of success is with a GM recall attorney who has experience with this. We have an experienced team of attorneys who are available to take your case. This will level the playing field as you take on General Motors and their high-priced attorneys.

What is a contingency fee?

When a lawyer works on a “contingency fee” basis, they’re agreeing to accept a fixed percentage of any monetary rewards from your lawsuit to cover their legal fees. If there are no rewards from your GM recall case, you don’t pay the lawyer. We get paid if, and only if, you do.
