Lawton, OK (May 10, 2019) – On May 9th, just before 3:00 p.m., Lawton Police Department received a call regarding an incident at the intersection of Northwest 15th and Lake Avenue.
According to police, a bicyclist was traveling south down the roadway when she was struck by a blue sedan traveling north along 15th.
The bicyclist sustained severe head and neck injuries and was transported to an area hospital in serious condition. No further details were made public and the incident is under investigation.
