Maysville, OK (July 18, 2019) – On July 17th, at approximately 10:15 p.m., the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 19 near Maysville.
Reports from the scene indicate that 21-year-old Dustin Davis was traveling west along Highway 19 in a Chevy Silverado when he crossed over the center median. After crossing over, Davis’s vehicle collided with a 2018 Mazda M6, which was driven by 24-year-old Kylie Newey.
The impact of the collision caused the Chevy Silverado to roll over, causing Davis to be ejected from the vehicle.
Newey was pinned inside her vehicle for over two-and-a-half hours before Maysville Fire Department was able to extricate her.
Unfortunately, both Davis and Newey were pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
Our deepest condolences go out to the families of both Dustin Davis and Kylie Newey.
