Oklahoma City, OK – Victims Identified and Suspect Arrested After Fatal Pursuit Crash

Oklahoma City, OK (April 28, 2019) – Officials in Oklahoma City identified the victims of a fatal crash that occurred when suspects ran a stop sign while fleeing from police. The accident happened on Friday evening, April 19, at the intersection of SW 44th and Villa.

Oklahoma City police officers attempted to stop a vehicle at SW 40th and Villa at approximately 5:40 p.m. when the vehicle slowed but then rapidly sped away. A chase along Villa ensued but quickly ended when the suspects crashed into an SUV at the intersection with SW 44th.

Tragically, both Tonya Horn, 43, and her 8-year-old daughter were pronounced dead at the scene. A third passenger in the SUV suffered serious injuries and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Andrew Munoz, 27, and his passenger, Deanna Alvarez, 35, were identified as the two occupants of the suspect vehicle. They were treated at an area hospital and arrested on multiple charges.
