Oklahoma City, OK (July 27, 2019) – A woman had to be hospitalized after being struck in the head by a baseball bat at a Dodgers game in Oklahoma City. According to police, the incident occurred at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on Friday night, July 26th.
The woman was in attendance at the game between the Dodgers and the Memphis Redbirds when a bat slipped out of a player’s hands. The victim, who was sitting on the third-base side, was subsequently hit by the flying bat.
Fire officials were among the responders at the scene, where the woman was reported to be conscious and alert. She was promptly taken to a nearby hospital in fair condition.
No further information has been released.
