Tulsa, OK (July 19, 2019) – On July 18th, the Tulsa Police Department responded to the scene of a motorcycle accident on 71st Street near Atlanta Ave.
According to reports, an elderly woman was traveling along 71st Street when she attempted to turn from the road onto Atlanta Ave. The woman did not see the motorcycle approaching and, as a result, her vehicle collided with the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and landed on the pavement a short distance from the vehicles.
The man sustained serious injuries to his abdominal area, head, and shoulders and was transported by EMSA to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
