Woodward County, OK – Mario Sebastian-Mejia Killed In Drowning Incident At Fort Supply LakeOklahoma Accident News on July 16, 2019
Woodward County, OK (July 16, 2019) – On Sunday, July 14th, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a drowning incident at Fort Supply Lake in Woodward County.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., OHP troopers received the report that 18-year-old Mario Sebastian-Mejia was wading outside of the swim beach area, approximately 90 feet south of the boat ramp when he fell off a jetty wall. After falling, Sebastian-Mejia was pulled underwater and did not resurface.
Around 5:00 p.m., Oklahoma Highway Patrol recovered Mario Sebastian-Mejia’s body from the water. Sebastian-Mejia was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
